We have been together for 48 years now, and we finally decided to record the first song that we worked on together,
Who Knows Where the Time Goes? was written by Sandy Denny, a leading singer/songwriter in the British folk revival during the late 1960s and early 70s, working with Fairport Convention and other groups. However, the song was first released on record in 1968 by Judy Collins as the B-side of her hit Both Sides Now.
Since then other great versions have been recorded by artists such as Kate Wolf, Nanci Griffith and Eva Cassidy, often with different words and tempos. Our arrangement incorporates elements from all of these versions. It is a great song to listen to on a quiet evening, and this one has a lot of "headphone-listening layers" as well.
Who Knows Where the Time Goes?
Enjoy and stay healthy!
