This is the first song in a new collection of recordings we are calling Love Songs in a Time of Coronavirus. as this event has caused us to spend more time recording and re-mixing some favorite songs.
We recorded this song a couple of years ago for an Iowa coffeehouse gig. At the time we didn't think we would be recording any more songs.
What a Difference a Day Made was originally written in Spanish by Maria Grever in 1934. Harry Roy wrote the English lyric later that year. Dinah Washington recorded a very popular version titled "What a Diff'rence a Day Makes" in 1959.
